    Other than extracting the sound tracks from the original PowerPoint documents and mixing into the generated video, PPT2DVD offers an option to record sounds on the computer as an alternative method to keep the sounds in the presentation. It is strongly recommended that you select this option in the case that the presentation contains MIDI files or flash movie with sounds.

  • Recording Control
    Input Option: Before you enable the option to retain sounds by recording, please make sure that Stereo Mix or the equivalent is available to be selected as an input option in the drop-down list. If not, please make sure your sound card has the "Stereo Mix" recording feature or update the sound card driver.

    Recording Volume: Drag the slider to adjust the recording volume for the highest possible performance.

    Recorder Test: To make sure the recorder on the selected channel can work properly, please click "Test" to have a recording test.

    Notes:
    • • Do not select input option other than Stereo Mix or the equivalent , or the sounds cannot be retained if you choose to "Retain sounds by recording".

    • • If the option "Retain Sounds By Recording" is enabled, all sounds on your computer during the conversion will be recorded into the output video.
