Layout Settings

You are allowed to change the video margin (for playing on TV only), add logo(s) to your presentations, and change the navigation buttons’ positions in Layout Settings.

For some devices, the edges of display region (CRT monitor for example) is cut because of manufacture limitation. In this condition you need to set aside margin to ensure that the video can be displayed completely. If you use LCD monitor to view videos, please choose 0% Margin to make your video been displayed without margin.


Margin

  • Margin Size
  • 0%: There is no margin if you choose 0%. The output video will fully fill the display region. If you want to play the DVD on computer or projector, this setup is recommended.

    10%: It would set aside 10% margin if you choose 10%. This setting would solve the overflow problem on most of the devices including some old TV sets.

    20%: It would set aside 20% margin if you choose 20%. This setting surely would also solve the overflow problem and the video may display on the central area of screen with margin around it.

    Besides, you can drag the slider to change the weight of black borders. You would see changes on the preview area in real-time.

  • Margin Fill

  • There are three methods to fill the margin.
    Picture
    : Specify the picture that comes with PPT2DVD used for filling the margin, which will be used to replace the black margin around the video(s) if you set aside.

    Color: PPT2DVD allows you to use gradient color to fill the background. There are three colors to choose. You can change the linear angle by clicking up-and-down, and change the color stops by moving the slider. You can see changes on the preview area in real-time.

  • Image file from: You can just click browse2  to choose your own image from local drive to fill the margin.
    Notes:
  • •The margin here refers to the one that is used to fill the blank areas around the video.

  • •You will see margin only when you adjust the slider to a value instead of 0% in the preview. And this preview may not be the same on the TV set.

Logo

This feature allows you to customize your own log(s) no matter if you are using trial version or full version. However, it is not allowed to remove the default Wondershare logo if you are using the trial version.

  • Add: Click this to add your own logo file. It supports up to 6 pictures with .bmp or .jpg file extension.

  • Logo Transparency: You can move the slider to adjust the transparency of you logo.

  • Position: You can click up-and-down button to change the position of the selected logo.

  • Logo Size: Tick Original size to adjust the selected logo to original size.You can also click up-and-down button to set the size of your logo.

 

Button Position
Specifies the positions of the navigation buttons, arrow, which are used to forward and backward slides when DVD is being played in manual mode. Enter the left and top value to change the positions of buttons. Or, just drag the navigation button to the place where you want it to locate.

Note: To forward to next slide, press the Play or right arrow button on DVD remote control. To backward to previous slide, press the left arrow on DVD remote control.
